Tawny Owls 2025/26

Welcome to the Tawny Owl Class

Mrs Muldoon is our class teacher. Mrs Stewart is our senior teaching assistant.
Mrs Mackenzie will teach us on a Monday afternoon. 

We have PE on a Tuesday and a Friday.  Please remove all jewellery on these days. 

Autumn Term 
Welcome to the Autumn Term in Tawny Owls. Below is an outline of the work we will be doing in each subject. 
 Each week we will bring a timetable home to show what we will be doing in school,  spellings for the following week will also be on the back of the timetable. 

English - we will be using the following texts in our English lessons - Molly McDrew, Around the World, Room on the Broom, Paddington's Post, Where the Poppies now Grow and Paddington's Christmas Post.

Bug Phonics revise and consolidate, Support for Spelling lessons 
Maths -  Place Value, Addition and Subtraction, Shape 
Science - Habitats, Microhabitats 
DT - Baby Bear's Chair 
Art - Drawing - Tell a story  
Music - Call and Response, Animals, Instruments, Musical Story Telling 
Computing - What is a computer? Algorithims and De-bugging
RE - Why do we need to give thanks?, What do candles mean to people? Advent, Christmas 
RSE/PSCHE - Family and Relationships, Health and well-being
PE - Rugby and Games 

We will also be doing lots of other exciting things in school.
